RecogNice 2.2 is a speech recognition software developed by atip which can be applied to various areas of automated dialog-systems. Within a natural-communicative dialog-system between men and machine, utterances can be reliably recognized and processed.

RecogNice 2.2 provides the possibility to draw on the recognizable vocabulary from statistics as well as from rule-based grammars. Precompiled grammars can be created by a grammar-compiler which should avoid latency periods of the recognition with bigger grammars. The compilation of custom-designed pronunciation dictionaries is supported on the level of phonetic transcription.

The flexibility in adjusting the software for individual costumer desires was an important factor in the development of RecogNice 2.2

Efficient and machine-orientated computing enables teh application in server-systems as well as in mobile or embedded systems. The functionality of RecogNice 2.2 works as API on different operating systems. Apart from that RecogNice 2.2 is available as a component for the speech platform aVP 5.7.
