aVP speech platform

A central aspect for high availability and an economic realization of interactive dialog-systems is a robust and scalable speech platform. With aVP 5.7 atip GmbH offers such a platform with a powerful Core in C++. The VoiceXML 2.1 dialog-interpreter and parts of the dialog management are realized as separated operations in Java and are arranged with resource-sharing and intelligent caching.

With a multi-threading architecture and internal communication via message queues, aVP 5.7 reaches high performance with low resource requirements. A high scalability and simultaneously high system stability is ensured by a a powerful client/server-processing-model.

For the integration of automatic speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech-engines (TTS) aVP 5.7 has a MRCP-Interface. The connections via SIP and ISDN are definately supported. Logging is flexibly configurable and monitoring via SNMP is possible. The aVP 5.7 is adaptable for different operating systems.
